| Scout (named after the little girl in To Kill A Mockingbird) is the pick of the litter female from Chili's final litter. I bred Chili to a dog in WA state owned by Karen Spurlin, named Ch. Auld Sod's Idealist. He is a son of the liver Finnish import dog Ch. Raccoon's Oh Boy At Nohea and out of a pretty black and tan female of Karen's. This was an outcross breeding. We had three show prospects in the litter, Scout being the only girl. Since her sire was named Idealist, I ended up naming her Cantabria Bright Idea. My dear friends Robin and Terry and children Rachel and Ben took Scout on as an addition to their wonderful and busy family. She grew up very well loved and cared for. I was able to get her out to a few shows with a handler and she got six points. I just have not had the time to get her out since. She is a beautiful sweet girl with a beautiful head like her mother Chili, a look similar to her grandmother Chai but with lovely bone and good angles front and rear. I am very pleased with how she has turned out, both mentally and physically. She gets along well with everyone and loves to have her tummy rubbed. | ||
